BIOGRAPHY: |
Ben set Canadian history by earning a bronze medal at the 2007 Pre-Junior World Championships in Roudnice, CZE. Since this incredible result, he has been one of Canada's most promising athletes on the international stage. At the 2009 World Championships, Ben finished 13th in the individual event, and was 4th in the team event with teammates John Hastings, and David Ford. Needless to say, Ben has made his mark on the international stage and given his age will be a medal hopeful for Canada in years to come. Ben is currently pursuing an architecture degree at Carleton University. He is also an avid Sprint paddler, and trains with many of the National Team guys in Ottawa at the Rideau Canoe Club.
