| REASON FOR TAKING UP THE SPORT: | Before kayaking I played tennis. I didnt like it anymore, so my parents asked me if I wanted to try kayaking. My brother was already kayaking. So that's how I found out about the sport. I love kayaking, because every training is different. You go to wonderfull places in the world and get to know great, inspiring people. | |

| TRAINING REGIME: | During the week I train on flat water. Most of the time I train endurance or sprint sessions. Every Sunday I go to Germany or Belgium to train on white water. That's where I do my technique sessions. Sometimes we go to a course to paddle on white water for a week. I'm always looking forward to go on a camp like that. Even in the winter. Because as my coach use to say: Weltmeister wird man im Winter. | |
