| BIOGRAPHY: | Kretschmer won Olympic gold in the C2 1000 at London 2012, his only previous Games appearance. He is a five-time world medallist, including four gold. The first of the golds came in the C4 1000 in 2013 and his most recent in the C2 500 in 2023. C2 500 will be his event in Paris. | |
