Paul Wycherley is a Men's K1 1000m sprint kayaker.
After gaining selection for the 2011 Canoe Sprint World Championships, ahead of Olympic champion Tim Brabants who was recovering from injury, Paul made his World Championship debut in the K1 1000m finishing 14th.
Then in October 2011 Paul kyaked across the English Channel in a new record time and raised an impressive £100,00 for charity in the process. He beat the record set in 2007 by his coach Ian Wynne, finishing in two hours and 28 minutes.
Paul has a degree from Reading University in Real Estate Management.
