WHEN/WHERE DID YOU START CANOEING/ KAYAKING?: |
2008
REASON FOR TAKING UP THE SPORT: | Like many Australians, my love for the ocean and Surf Ski paddling paved the way for my Kayaking career. At the 2007 Surf Life Saving National Titles, Ramon Andersson (coach) approached me after some great races and asked if I would like to try kayaking. I was tentative at first, but i eventually gave it a go and really loved the challenge
MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSON IN CAREER: | Ramon Andersson - my coach. Never in my life have I met a more honoeable decent human being. He is such a great leader, coach and mentor, setting the best example for all his athletes. Hes the fittest coach walking around i reckon! "Rambo"
FAVOURITE PADDLING COURSE: | Szeged, Hungary! They ALAWAYS have a great crowd to cheer us on
FAVOURITE FOOD: |
Coffee (is coffee a food?!)
FAVOURITE MUSIC: |
Deep house! fun tunes.
AMBITIONS : |
I suppose in the immediate future, we need to qualify the K4 for the
Olympic Games 2016. If that goes well, ill be looking to make the Rio team and
paddle down the course faster that we ever have before.
