I began paddling as I wanted to know how to paddle to be able to do
adventure races - but I never got to do adventure races - I stayed with the
kayak

My boyfriend who taught me to paddle, but also all my coaches who have
taught me many things that I still think of in training

The Danish girls, on training camps when I was the only girl on the Danish team - I used to train with Emilie Fournel, Jenni Mikkonen and Jenny Egan, Jenny Egan trained with us this spring in FL which was really good

MEMORABLE SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT: |
My five World Champion titles are of course really special - all them, the
first one because it was the first one, the third one as it was Anne Lolks last
kayak competition, the 4th one as it was in Denmark with a great support, the
5th as it was my first in sprint and Emma and I had only paddled together for a
week. The OG in Beijing was very special - all the hype, the national gear, the
atmosphere and especially the opening ceremoni

OTHER INFORMATION: |
My dog Lewis is my little baby when I'm home. I miss him so much when being
abroad.
The older I have got my base at home have become more important and travelling all the time tougher. I love the sport - the hard training, the social part etc. I especially love the fact that compared to 13-14 years of agegap between me and the other Danish girls - we still have great fun and the same goal |
