| BIOGRAPHY: | A golf and car fanatic, Fitzpatrick started paddling at the age of 12. In his first Olympic appearance in Tokyo, he finished a respectable sixth in the C2 1000. The world champion looks up to Canadian Olympic medallist Steve Giles, coach and German five-time Olympic medallist Andreas Dittmer and German three-time Olympic champion Sebastian Brendel. | |
