| BIOGRAPHY: | Inspired by her grandmother to take up paddling, Cociu finished 24th in the C1 200 and seventh in the C2 500 at Tokyo 2020, where she and crewmate Maria Olarasu became the first women to represent Moldova in Canoe Sprint at the Olympic Games. She has won the U23 C2 500 world title. In Paris, she reached the quarter-finals of the C1 200 and seventh in the C2 500 final. |
