WHEN/WHERE DID YOU START CANOEING/ KAYAKING?:

I first sat in a boat in December of 2012. I've practised sport since I was 4 years old, and two years after my accident a friend of mine invited me to try canoeing. I freaking love it, I love the freedom, the water, the wind in my face. I felt in love with the sport.

I admire all the athletes in my country that with no support what so ever, they keep training to be the best version of themselves.

Don't think about what can happen in a month. Just focus on the 24 hours in front of you and do what you can to get closer to where you want to be.

I like to paddle in Bolívar because it's where all started. And because it will always be my home.
