| BIOGRAPHY: | Before becoming a paddler, Matehaere tried her hands at skiing and became a national medallist. She also played basketball before taking up kayaking. At Paris 2024, she will make her Olympic debut along with Aimee Fisher in the K2 500. The Dunedin-born athlete is also pursuing BSc Biomedical Science at the University of Auckland. |
