BIOGRAPHY:   As a teenager, Havard was on track to play rugby in the NRL. However, shoulder injuries meant that he had to look elsewhere for a career in sport. That’s when sprint kayaking came his way thanks to Olympic champion Ken Wallace, who took him under his wing. At Paris 2024, he was part of the Australian team that won silver in the K4 500. Post his paddling career, Havard plans to work in construction or mining and is a Bachelor of Project Management at University of Sydney.
