| REASON FOR TAKING UP THE SPORT: | Kayaking was never really a choice for me. My dad got me into it when I was 5 years old. We started paddling flat water, and progressed to easy whitewater. When I was around 8 years old, I started to challenge myself on my own by paddling harder whitewater, and experimenting with play waves. I started to love kayaking because it was so fun, and so I kept doing harder and harder whitewater. Ultimately, it was my dad who got me into the sport though. | |
