| BIOGRAPHY: | He is a two-time Asian Games medallist, winning K1 1000 silver in 2023 and K2 1000 bronze in 2018. Makhkamov won his first Asian Championships gold in the K4 1000 in 2017. He will make his Olympic debut in the K1 1000. |
