| REASON FOR TAKING UP THE SPORT: |
Older brother started paddling with a friend of his, and I eventually got roped into it. And just took to it, the constantly changing nature of canoe slalom really appealed to me. It never gets boring. The hard training and varied nature of that training, was a great channel for the vast amounts of energy I had as a kid
