I began kayaking at the age of 13 at CSBOP in Tauranga, New Zealand

| REASON FOR TAKING UP THE SPORT: |
I initially took up the sport to keep fit for rugby and basketball and
little did I know that I would love it so much that it is now the ONLY sport I
do.
Canoe Slalom is awesome because of the excitement, the rush of the white water and the thrill of competing. |

I do 8 sessions per week on the water. Concentrating on technique, speed
and endurance and a couple of sessions on the water water. Alongside this, time
in the gym, on the bike and on the road.
My goal in all is to 'keep focussed on what I am doing and what I am training for." |
